After closing to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, the Hobbs Teen Center has reopened to serve Hobbs’ teenagers. All current 6th grade through 12th grade students are welcome.
Teen Center membership is free. However, a parent or guardian must sign a permission form before students are allowed to attend the center and participate in the activities it offers. The City of Hobbs Facebook page states that students should bring their parent “for your first visit to sign up.”

City of Hobbs Recreation Superintendent and Teen Center supervisor Michal Hughes, told the Lea County Tribune via email: “Our hours are subject to change due to COVID restrictions. Parents can sign up their kids to attend the Teen Center during open hours.”
Right now, rides home from the center are not being given. As the facility reopens fully, this may change.
