Can you survive the dark forest? The Community Players of Hobbs want you to find out.
For the 11th year in the running, the Hobbs haunted house is here. “It’s open season. Join The Hunt!”, states Hobbs Community Players about this year’s haunted house.
Doors open at 8:00 pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 29, 30 and 31 at the Hobbs Community Playhouse.
The playhouse is located at 1700 North Grimes. Cost is $10.00 (no refunds), and tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Pitting hunters against prey, Hobbs’ annual haunted house has entertained area folks for more than ten years. About this year’s event one reviewer says on the Community Players Facebook page, “It’s the best ever.”
The Hobbs Community Players caution the public that strobe lights may be in use while attending the haunted house.
The group also advises that only appropriate shoes will be allowed. What this means is that nothing open toed or high heeled is permitted.
Also attraction goes are reminded NOT to bring valuables to the haunted house. “Lost items may not be retrievable until after the haunt has been taken down,” states the Community Players website.
During the 2021 haunted house event, traffic will be directed both in and out of the parking lots. No entry or exit will be available behind the playhouse. It is important for the public to follow all parking directions.
