Tickets are now on sale for the United Way of Lea County’s 3rd Annual “Project You” Concert. The event is the kickoff for United Way of Lea County’s Campaign 2022.
The outdoor “Project You” concert extravaganza is slated for Saturday, October 16 at the Hobbs Industrial Air Park. The park is located at 5654-5698 West Jack Gomez Boulevard, 5 miles northwest of Hobbs on Highway 18 North. The park’s GPS coordinates are 32.773852, -103.217264. Gates open at 4:00 pm, and the concert starts at 6:00 pm.
Event sponsors are the JF Maddox Foundation, Hobbs Jaycees/Hobbs Chamber of Commerce and IPS.
Concert Headliner LOCASH
The concert’s headliner is the popular duo LOCASH. Local artists Paris and the Justin Kemp Band will also be performing.
Tickets are $30.00 each and are available online, via telephone at 575-397-2203 or at the United Way office 320 North Shipp, Suite B in Hobbs.
Campaign 2022 to Support Lea County Non-Profits
United Way’s Campaign 2022 will support more than 14 Lea County non-profit organizations, including American Red Cross, Boys Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, CASA, Girls Scouts, Heart’s Desire, Isaiah’s Kitchen, Lea County Center for the Arts, Leaders, Light of Lea County, Opportunity House, Options, the Salvation Army and Weekend Hunger Initiative (WHI Hobbs).
Concert Sponsorships
Five “Project You” concert sponsorship levels are available.
Diamond Level – $15,000 – 4 VIP tables, each seating 8 individuals, 10 seats in the VIP area and 20 general admission tickets are included.
Platinum Level – $10,000 – 2 VIP tables, each seating 8 individuals, 8 seats in the VIP area and 25 general admission tickets are included.
Gold Level – $5,000 – 1 VIP table, seating 8 individuals, 5 seats in the VIP area and 20 general admission tickets are included.
Silver Level – $2,500 – 8 seats in the VIP area and 10 general admission tickets are included.
Bronze Level – $1,000 – 5 seats in the VIP area and 10 general admission tickets are included.

A Little About LOCASH and Justin Kemp
LOCASH, formerly known as the LoCash Cowboys, is an American country music group of two. Singer-songwriters Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, in addition to releasing three albums, have charted seven singles in total on two different charts, Billboard Hot Country Songs and Billboard Country Airplay. In 2016, their single “I Know Somebody” topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart. They also are known for co-writing Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah” and Keith Urban’s “You Gonna Fly“.
Justin Kemp, of the five piece Justin Kemp Band, is a homegrown New Mexican. He was born and raised in the southeastern part of the state on the Texas border. A singer/songwriter, Justin has spent time developing his career and recording in Nashville. The Justin Kemp Band has toured nationally, especially in the southwestern areas of the United States. The band appears on several “artists to watch” lists.
